ask.monash changes

Release 8.0

We've made some changes to the ask.monash tile.

Students: we've removed the ask.monash tile and replaced it with the Ask a question tile. This will take you to the Ask a question asset on the Monash Connect contact us webpage.

Staff: no change for you. You'll continue to access ask.monash as you have in the past. This is where you can ask all your HR questions.

MoVE is now available in my.monash

Release 8.0

Noticed a new tile? MoVE is now available to all staff and Australian students through my.monash.

Students
Use MoVE to access a range of applications on your own device, anywhere, anytime – for free! This means you don’t need to visit on-campus labs to complete your coursework and assessments. Check Moodle or your unit guides to see if your course requires you to access specialised software through MoVE.

Staff
Keep an eye out for the ever-growing suite of specialist applications available on your own device without the need for VPN access to the Monash network.

Log into MoVE to see what software is available to you.

New Staff travel tile

Release 8.0

If you travel for work, you’ll be pleased to know we’ve created a tile with links to all the travel systems.

No need to search multiple tiles, open Staff travel for access to:

• CTM SMART Travel Portal (previously on Expenses & purchasing tile)
• International and domestic travel (previously on Parking & travel tile)
• Travel diary
• Update my travel profile

Changes to tiles for Malaysian students and staff

To make my.monash even better for Malaysian students and staff, we’ve added some new tiles for you.

Students, you’ve got a couple of new tiles:

1. Student intranet
2. News & events
3. MUM applications
4. Orientation planner (this one will pop up and down around o-week)

Staff, we’ve got one new one for you:

1. MUM applications

If you’re after easy access to highly used systems, check out the new tiles.

New travel management system

Release 8.0

If you travel for work, you’ll be interested to know that we’ve implemented a new travel management system called the CTM travel portal. This will replace the current Concur travel management system.

We’ve added a new link to this portal on the Expenses and purchasing tile.

Allocate+ now includes a swap function

Release 8.0

Great news, the latest upgrade to Allocate+ includes an in-system swap function.

That means you'll be able choose and swap your unit's activities in Allocate+.

Swap functionality will be available during adjustment mode, just click on the activity you want to swap and put a heart next to the option you want to swap into. Easy!

Monash Marketplace has closed

Release 8.0

The Monash Marketplace has been decommissioned.

Please take advantage of one of the many alternative online marketplaces to buy, sell and swap your goods.

Non-Monash sites for selling and buying goods include:

• StudentVIP Texbooks for books 
• Flatemates for accommodation
• Gumtree can be used for all other items
